Perfection!

Kimball really likes to line things up perfectly, especially all of his cars. Almost every day he makes this perfect circle around the table, and heaven's forbid if you move one out of place. It is very cute, he not only does this at our house, but anywhere he goes that has cars, trains, you name it that can be made into a strait pattern.

The many hats of Katelyn

Kate looks so cute in hats, that we love to put them on her. This is a picture of her in one of her sun hats with a good friend of mine Christina. She was in down here for a tennis tournament and we got to meet up with her for a little bit. The kids had a lot of fun with her.

Arizona Trip

Our niece was baptised this last weekend so we got to take a fun little trip to Arizona. Kimball had a lot of fun with his awesome cousins and we really enjoyed seeing our family. We miss not living close to family anymore.

Anna was so pretty in her white dress. She was such a little mommy to Kimball, and he loved it.

We got to hang out with my Aunt Lorna and cousins Keddi and Kimri! It was so fun to see them, it had been almost four years since our last meeting, way to long.

She's Walking!!!!

Kate decided yesterday that she had had enough crawling and began to take her first steps. Cort and I were floored. She is only 10 1/2 months. Maybe that is normal for most kids, but we were pretty shocked. She just seems so little still. She gets so excited when she starts to walk that she speeds up and ends up eating it. I will post a video and some pictures when I get the chance. Church will now be even more exciting, as I am sure you can all imagine.

Going Private

The "Summer Cut"

I asked Cort to give Kimball a hair cut the other day becase his hair was getting pretty long. And this is what happened! He just kept saying, "Daddy where is my hair?" Cort made him feel better by encouraging him that it was a "cool summer cut" for boys. I am getting used to it now, but I am not sure we will be doing these "cool" cuts next summer, I am just not sold on it. We love him anyways, and thank goodness hair grows back!

Beach Day

We went to Oceanside this weekend and spent some time at the beach. It was a little bit cooler than we had hoped for, but it was still a blast. The kids loved the sand and Kimball couldn't get enough of the ocean and chasing the seagulls. He insisted on getting in the water even though it was freezing. It was all dandy until he ate it a few times in the waves and we realized he was turning bright red and purple. Woopsie! Poor little guy was so cold. Kate enjoyed not only playing in the sand, but eating it as well, nice, I know.

Disneyland

This was pretty much the highlight of Disneyland for Kimball. He loved seeing all of the character's, too bad the lines to get a picture with them was a mile long. We caught Goofy and Pluto just in time. We only had to throw a few elbows to get this shot.

Kimball was so excited to see Pluto that he hung on his leg for a good while. Pluto actually started walking away while Kimball was still holding on. Get the hint kid!

What is it with boy's and capes?

Aunt Holly sent Kimball some cool Batman p.j's for his birthday, and he hasn't taken them off since they arrived. I know, yikes! There is a cape attached and he runs around the house looking back to make sure that his cape is fluttering.He also has cute little conversations with Robin and yells, "To the Batcopter!" I love little boys!!!

Easter

We got to spend Easter with Grandma Winter this year. Here are the kids dressed up for church and actually holding still for a second.



The Easter egg hunt was done a little differently this year, at night. My sister Holly was in town with her softball team and they all came to my mom's for dinner. They had there own little egg hunt, so we did Kimball's at the same time. He had a great time and would get really excited every time he found an egg. It is so much fun to watch him get bigger and find joy in the little things in life.
